Welcome to Unyqe Beauty Studio. By booking or receiving any treatment or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Booking & Deposit Policy
Deposits
- A £30 deposit is required to secure all consultations and treatments
- Deposits must be received within 72 hours of making your booking
- Your deposit is fully refundable if you:
- Arrive on time for your appointment
- Provide at least 48 hours' notice for rescheduling or cancellation
Cooling Off Period
- A 14-day cooling off period applies from the date of booking
- After this period, deposits become non-refundable unless rescheduled with proper notice
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Notice Requirements
- 48 hours' notice is required for any cancellation or rescheduling
- Notice must be provided during business hours
- We recommend contacting us via email or phone
Late Cancellations
Failure to provide 48 hours' notice may result in:
- 100% charge for the full treatment session
- Loss of your deposit
- Requirement to prepay for future appointments
Rescheduling Limits
- Maximum of two reschedulings per appointment
- After two reschedulings, the appointment may be cancelled and deposit forfeited
No-Shows
Failure to attend without notice will result in:
- Full treatment charge
- Loss of deposit
- Requirement to prepay for future bookings
3. Payment Terms
Accepted Payment Methods
- Card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
- Bank transfers
- Cash payments (in person)
Treatment Packages
- Package payments must be completed before the first treatment
- Payment plans may be available upon request
- All treatments in a package must be used within 12 months
Pricing
- Prices are subject to change
- Prices quoted at booking are honored for that appointment
- Any additional services will be charged separately
4. Refund Policy
Eligible for Refund
Full refund available within 14 days of purchase if:
- No treatment has been performed
- Package has not been started
- Products remain unopened
Not Eligible for Refund
- Treatments already performed
- Ongoing treatment courses
- Opened or used products (unless defective or damaged)
- Missed appointments without proper notice
Refund Processing
- Refunds processed within 14 working days
- Refunded to original payment method
5. Treatment Limitations & Validity
Time Limits
- All treatments and packages must be completed within 12 months from date of purchase
- No extensions or refunds for expired treatments
Age Restrictions
- Clients must be 18 years or older to receive treatments
- Valid ID may be requested
Treatment Suitability
Practitioners reserve the right to refuse treatment if:
- Medical conditions make treatment unsuitable
- Contraindications are present
- Client appears under the influence
- Client behavior is inappropriate
6. Client Responsibilities
Medical Disclosure
You must disclose:
- All medical conditions and medications
- Allergies or skin sensitivities
- Previous cosmetic procedures
- Pregnancy or nursing status
- Any changes to your health before each appointment
Patch Tests
- Patch tests are recommended before certain treatments
- Failure to complete a patch test may result in treatment refusal
Aftercare
- You must follow all aftercare instructions provided
- Failure to follow aftercare may affect results
- Additional charges may apply for corrective treatments due to improper aftercare
7. Results & Expectations
No Guaranteed Results
Treatment results vary by individual. Results depend on factors including:
- Skin type and condition
- Age and lifestyle
- Adherence to aftercare
- Overall health
Realistic Expectations
- We will discuss expected outcomes during consultation
- Before/after photos are examples only, not guarantees
- Multiple sessions may be required for desired results
8. Liability & Insurance
Our Liability
Unyqe Beauty Studio is not liable for:
- Economic losses or consequential damages
- Injuries resulting from non-disclosed medical conditions
- Adverse reactions when medical history was not fully disclosed
- Results that vary from expectations
Your Liability
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate medical information
- Following pre-treatment instructions
- Following aftercare advice
- Informing us immediately of any adverse reactions
Insurance
- We maintain professional indemnity insurance
- Our practitioners are fully certified and insured
9. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
How to Complain
If you're not satisfied with our service:

- Include appointment date and practitioner name
Our Response
- We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours
- We aim to resolve complaints within 8 weeks
- You'll receive a written response outlining the outcome
Mediation
- If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may request mediation
- We work with Hair & Beauty Mediation Services
- Both parties must agree to mediation
